Fall Into Comfort With Alta Pest Control
🍁 Seasonal Tips & Tricks
1.Seal Entry Points: With the drop in temperature, pests (like rodents) and insects seek warmth inside your home. Inspect and seal any cracks, gaps, and holes in your walls, doors, and windows. Pay special attention to areas where utilities enter your home.
2. Properly Store Food: Ensure all food, including pet food, is stored in airtight containers. Pests are always on the lookout for a food source, and a tightly sealed container can deter them from invading your pantry.
3. Maintain Your Yard: Rake leaves and dispose of them promptly, as piles of leaves can provide a perfect hiding spot for pests. Keep your lawn and garden tidy, and trim back any overgrown vegetation near your home’s foundation.
4. Inspect Your Home’s Exterior: Check your roof and gutters for any debris that can attract pests. Clean out gutters to prevent standing water, which can be a breeding ground for insects.
5. Schedule a Fall Inspection: Our team of professionals is here to help you with a thorough fall inspection. We can identify potential problem areas and provide solutions to keep pests at bay.

Late Payment Terms and Conditions Change
Based upon feedback from our customers, we have changed our late fee policy. Rather than a flat $25 late fee, overdue invoices will now incur a 2% fee based on the total amount owed after 30 days past the due date. If you have questions about this change in policy please refer to the specific FAQ section here. (Implemented 7/1/24)
Improving the Call Quality
As we’ve grown, we've received feedback from our customers that it was difficult to hear us when chatting with our customer service department. We’ve installed new noise cancellation equipment to help reduce the background noise and allows our team to hear you and your needs, so they can take care of you more easily. (Implemented February 2024)
"On My Way" Notifications
When you opt into this feature, you’ll receive a real-time tracker that shows you the location of the technician, while they are enroute to your house. Once the tech arrives the tracking will turn off automatically. (Implemented June 2024)
Work Order Documentation
We’re currently developing a comprehensive guide that details service expectations, timelines, outcomes, and more for our specialized services—like Rodent Exclusion, Attic Remediation, and Termite treatments. These services can be quite technical and come with higher costs, so this document will serve as a one-stop resource for both our team and our customers. It’s designed to ensure everyone is on the same page, making it easier to understand, align, and deliver on what’s expected. (Implemented June 2024)
Advanced Notification
To enhance convenience for our customers, we’re extending the notification window for upcoming appointments. This change ensures you have more advance notice to plan accordingly. (Implemented July 2024)

Our goal is to ensure that any appointment request is fulfilled within three days when needed. (Implemented August 2024)
